...
how it all started
| I
was sitting in a smoky boozer with
Kristian and Josef when I was blinded
by the light of Radegast. He told
me to gather the Czech and Slovak
people of the D.C. Area together and
hold a mejdan (drinking bout or sesh)
at least once a month. |

That was my mission for a few years. I recently relocated to England (where I am among other things still running my language school Centaur School of English as a Foreign Language), but I have been
ably assisted by Vlada and Kristian, who are the
heirs to my throne. If one or all of
the following apply (please note especially
4), you are more than welcome to our
festivities: |
1) you are Czech or Slovak
2) you have Czech or Slovak blood
3) you are interested in Czech-Slovak
culture, history, art etc.
4) you enjoy chatting over a few drinks
For
those of you who don't speak Czech or
Slovak, don't worry- everyonespeaks English
quite well. I hope you join us for some
kecani u piva.
Some
of the pubs and clubs that have enjoyed
our illustrious company are:
-
The Galaxy Hut
- Dr. Dremo's
- Molly Malone's
- Café Citron
- Garrett’s
- O’Sullivan’s
- Babylon Futbol Cafe
